Black Genders of the Future: An Introduction into the Black Genders Archive

~Registration Closed

Hosted by Austen Louis and Gabe Tomlin

[Virtual]

Black Genders of the Future is an experimental & speculative creative space that explores the intersection of blackness and genderqueerness through the lens of the Black Genders Archive. With “The Future” as a spectrum that encompasses the past and present at minimum, we’ll channel how black genders have, do, and will queer the concept of gender, simply by existing. By using tactics that exceed cisheteronormativity as a mode of survival and by using our bodies as portals for pleasure, play, and rest, we access liberation in perpetually unlikely times. This workshop is a cultivated haven for black people only.

This workshop is donation based, and donations can be made to: https://www.paypal.me/alouis502
