Black Science Fiction welcomes you to an evening of Black sonic futurism, exploring a genre-bending, multi-format performance composed by contemporary jazz musicians. Black Science Fiction has previously worked with free jazz artists, composers, beat makers, noise, and electronic musicians like amani, BSTFRND, Aquiles Navarro, Contour, duendita, keiyaA, JWords, Matthew Jamal, and more. Black Science Fiction’s mission is to invest in and sustain an ever-evolving conversation around Black culture and imagination. In order to facilitate this community conversation, Black Science Fiction creates spaces orientated around Black futures where music can be celebrated, workshopped, and discussed. Join us as Black Science Fiction celebrates the vitality of Black cultural production and stay tuned as we announce our special guests.

On February 9th from 8:00p,-10:30pm we will be screening The Game God(s) directed by Adrian Burell and Cette Maison directed by Miryam Charles at Film Noir Cinema located in Greenpoint, BK.
